VOTE FOR MISSIONS is the theme for our soon approaching missions conference (Sept. 7, 10-14). As usual we like to present each family with a gift of something they need for their ministry. This year we have several large items to try and get so it would be great if some of you could pitch together so we can be a blessing to these missionaries. There are also smaller things that have been asked for. This is a great way for everyone who has a job to get involved and be a blessing.
-Spanish Hymn player ($300)
- A good digital camera and scan disk
- 2 rolls of stamps
- 2 boxes of 10x13 size envelopes
- 2 HP black printer cartridges #93

Our missions conference is shaping up to be an exciting time this year. VOTE FOR MISSIONS is the theme. If you have never attended a conference at our church for missions mark your calendars for Sept 10-14. You'll be glad you did!
We would like to invite you to join us in visitation on Saturday mornings. You can go along as a silent, praying partner if you feel uncomfortable speaking. There is something for everyone to do! It's a great way to get your kids involved in serving!
Make this a week of encouragement. Pick a missionary off the board and send them an email or card or even a call.
A special thank you to each member who has been busy visiting, praying, and serving!
Pray for our attendance to increase and let God speak to YOU about how faithful
YOU are. YOUR presence encourages the saints while YOUR absence discourages.
Pray for the prison ministry and the inmates.
We have a van loan out and would like to pay it off as soon as possible. If you'd like to make an extra offering to help with that, mark your envelope "VAN". Pray that this van as well as the old one will be used for God's glory in bringing people to church.
If you would like us to add someone to the prayer list, please send an email to

Matthew 28:19,20 (KJV)-
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the
Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with
you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Missionaries need intercessors more than admirers. They need prayers more than donors. They live and work in the enemy's territory and become the special object of Satan's attack. Support our missionaries by praying for them by name.
