  • The Effectual Fervent Prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

  • Pray for one another and be faithful to God during these uncertain times! Thankfully we know who holds the future.

  • Prayer Requests: We can't all give (above our tithe) but we can ALL pray!
            1. Please pray for Dan Harper who has cancer and Jean Harper for comfort. Send him a card to 520 Frenchtown Road, Elkton, MD 21921.
            2. Please pray for Linda Cline (who broke the wrist of her good hand) who is now in rehabilitation. Send her a card to Manor Care, 5651 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808.
            3. Rosemarie Martinez's family as her sister in Peru was diagnosed with breast cancer.
            4. Cherith Stevens has malaria. Pray the medicine will do its work and that her liver will not be affected. She will not know until she comes out of the country in August.
            5. VEASEYS in HONDURAS - Honduras is undergoing some political turmoil with possible military action. Pray for safety for missionaries and a peaceful outcome.
            6. Pray for those waiting "patiently" for their visas to be approved - Cherith Stevens in Papua New Guinea and the BAUERS to Australia.
            7. Jen Parvis' baby is due any time. Pray for her in the remaining time.
            8. Pray for a piece of property for the church of the Veaseys in Honduras. Contribution towards this property would be welcomed. You can mark your envelope Land and we will put it int he Land fund for them.
            9. Jack & Marcia Slaughter in Mexico - Pray for a 95 year old man that they led to the Lord about 5 years ago. He is nearing the end of life. Pray that as family arrive from different places the Slaughters will have the opportunity to witness to them.
            10. Pray for those in our church who are out of work.
            11. Pray for more faithfull adults to join the church.
            12. Thank you for being faithful in your missions giving. Pray that we would be able to support our existing missionaries and hope that we could support more of them in the future despite of this economic trouble.
            13. Pray for Daniel Hernandez who is making a miraculous recovery. You may send him a card to: 1304 Laurel Oak Rd, Voorhees, New Jersey 08043-4392.

  • Congratulations to Emily Shull who graduated from Mt. Sophia Academy ( actually from Shull homeschool!)

  • We would like to invite you to join us in visitation on Saturday mornings. You can go along as a silent, praying partner if you feel uncomfortable speaking. There is something for everyone to do! It's a great way to get your kids involved in serving!

  • Make this a week of encouragement. Pick a missionary off the board and send them an email or card or even a call.

  • A special thank you to each member who has been busy visiting, praying, and serving!

  • Pray for our attendance to increase and let God speak to YOU about how faithful YOU are. YOUR presence encourages the saints while YOUR absence discourages.

  • Pray for the prison ministry and the inmates.

  • We have a van loan out and would like to pay it off as soon as possible. If you'd like to make an extra offering to help with that, mark your envelope "VAN". Pray that this van as well as the old one will be used for God's glory in bringing people to church.

  • If you would like us to add someone to the prayer list, please send an email to victorybaptistonline@yahoo.com

  • PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES :

    OUR MISSIONARIES:

Matthew 28:19,20 (KJV)- Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Missionaries need intercessors more than admirers. They need prayers more than donors. They live and work in the enemy's territory and become the special object of Satan's attack. Support our missionaries by praying for them by name.
